What we don’t collect
We try to avoid collection of any data by:
- Don’t set any cookies
- Don’t use any content delivery networks (CDN) or third party analytics services like Google Analytics
- You don’t need any JavaScript (active code) to access our content
- We only log part of IP-Addresses (192.168.178.0) to identify attacks
- We don’t try to retrieve, collect or combine any personal information
Reach measurement
To understand which of our pages are read, we count page views with
Matomo. We host Matomo ourselves on our own server at
stats.qameta.com, so this data never reaches a third party — it stays
with Team Qameta.
Our pages embed a single image (a “tracking pixel”) that your browser loads from that server. This means:
- No cookies are set, and nothing is stored on your device
- No JavaScript (active code) runs for the measurement
- Your IP address is anonymized before it is stored
- We only ever see which page was opened, not who opened it
We use this only to count how often a page is read. It is not combined with any other data, and it cannot be used to identify you.
If you contact us
We have published email addresses to contact us. If you send us an email, you may provide personal information like name, email, address or any other related data within your email.
Processing your Data
We use your data only to process your request.
Data retention period
The data is erased as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. If we don’t hear for 3 months, we will delete it too.
Deletion of you data
If you want your data to be deleted, please contact us by email or phone.
